STEAM Camp Policies

Enrollment is limited to ensure small classes.

STEAM Camp reserves the right to cancel any camp due to insufficient enrollment. Many camps have a limited number of children who can enroll. It is best to enroll your child as soon as you can.

We always provide a 30-minute drop-off and pick-up window before and after a session (for example, if camp ends at 4pm, regular pick-up is from 4pm to 4:30pm). If a child is not picked up from camp at the end of that day’s session, a late fee of $3 per every 2 minutes after the end of regular pickup time will be imposed and must be paid at the time your child is picked up. The same policy applies if the child is dropped off in the morning earlier than the 30-minute grace period between 8:30 am and 9:00 am.

Refund Policy

For summer sessions, a full refund will be issued for cancellations prior to April 26, 2020.

For summer sessions, 50% refund will be issued for cancellations between April 27 and May 10, 2020.

After May 10, 2020, no refunds will be issued for cancellations.

For Super Saturdays or holiday sessions, no refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 7 days before the session.

Every effort will be made to offer and staff courses as described on our site. Circumstances can arise that necessitate a change. If a camp is canceled by us, for any reason, the applicant will receive a full refund of the camp fee.

We do participate in the Easter Seals Champions for Children program . Please let us know if your child has special needs, so that we can evaluate our ability to accomodate them and, if needed, we can generate an invoice for submission to Easter Seals. If, once a camp has begun, it becomes apparent that the STEAM Camp Director has not been made aware of specific medical or emotional needs that cannot be accommodated, or if the child is uncooperative with instructors or staff, or is a detriment to other students, the child can be removed from any current or future camp that he/she may be registered to attend without refund.
