At STEAM Camp, you don’t just learn science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. You make it. You create it. You build it. Join us every summer and learn from our staff of technologists, teachers, game designers, and college professor .

Busy schedule? No problem. We also offer early drop-off and late pick-up options. Perfect for rising 4th-9th grade students.
(E-Learning sessions also accept rising 2nd and 3rd graders)

E-Learning

Campers unable to attend school due to Covid-19 closures can instead attend camp, where we will supervise their e-learning regimen. They can log into zoom classrooms on our computers and avoid many of the negative impacts of home isolation. Plus, parents can go to work as if their camper was in school.

Robotics

Campers will learn the basic principles of robotics in a variety of hands-on ways, from building their own solar-powered bots to researching real-world robots and even programming tiny bots that will fit in the palm of their hands! You'll pay a small fee and get to keep your kit at the end of the session to allow your camper to keep creating beyond the summer.

Crossbows & Catapults: Force, Energy & Motion

Campers will explore concepts of physics by building and experimenting with a variety of catapults, crossbows, and trebuchets. Don't worry, the projectiles are foam-tipped! You'll pay a small fee and get to keep your kit at the end of the session to allow your camper to keep creating beyond the summer.

Video Game Design I: Platformers & Side-scrollers

Campers will learn the basic principles of video game design using software programs like GameSalad to create platformers and slide-scrollers. Campers create their own playable video games by the end of the session.

Video Game Design II: Mobile Games

Campers will learn the basic principles of video game design for mobile devices, with emphasis on touch controls and simplified game mechanics. Campers create their own playable video games by the end of the session. Campers do not need to have taken Video Game Design I to take this class.

Video Game Design III: 3D Games

Campers will learn advanced principles of video game design using professional software tools like Unity or Unreal. Campers will create their own playable video game levels by the end of the session. Campers do not need to have taken Video Game Design I or II to take this class.

STEAM Camp takes place at our downtown campus

STEAM Camp is located downtown at Jolly Gobline Games, which now shares a space with 8-Bit Donus. The building is at 530 MLK Jr Blvd, on the same block as The Chromatic Dragon. It's Savannah's premier location for creative geniuses to cut loose and have fun.

State of the Art Facilities

STEAM Camp evolved out of The Guild Hall, Savannah's premier technology space. Our facilities offer everything necessary to host Savannah's premier summer camp focusing on science, technology engineering, art and math. STEAM Camp has dozens of computers, stocked with cutting-edge software, not to mention scores of robots, drones, electronics, and myriad other resources.
